I have a gif file that is animated and moves but sadly the resolution is too big.

How do i shrink the resolution of the gif to like 200px by 200px

Keep in mind that this gif is not a single picture and moves just like some of the smilies on this forum do

    All answers will be apriciated

    Thanks

I use and old animated program called Jasc which came with Paint Shop Pro v7.
What software do you have? You might try gimp or paint.net and look at their animated software.
You want to go into animation and reduce the size or number of frames. Do a little at a time and see if it works.

You can do that with Format Factory

    1. select Picures > All to Gif
    2. Add file
    3. Go to "Output Settings" and select the size
    3. OK > OK
    4. Start
    5. The result is in Documents > FF Output.

PS: Format Factory is a very handy and excellent program for many other purposes (video and audio filetype conversion, Video cropping, change of output settings, etc.)

I have used PixResizer (Freeware) for some of my Gifs. Not sure if it will work on all sizes?
