    this codec pack is the best 1 I have ever seen....but have some issues in making of thumbnails in the windows explorer....sometimes explorer stops stops working and some times it takes so much time to make thumbnail..!!...but this problem is getting fixed day by day of new releases of codec pack...this is the problem mostly faces by .flv file format

    Waiting for new releases 2 come...!!

    phoenix404, you should not be having any issues with thumbnails. Here is a post on my forum about getting thumbnails working for all formats. There is specific information for MKV's but the instruction for clearing the thumbnail cache will help improve all thumbnails.

    I also released version 1.3.0 today. It adds support for Optimfrog audio and has several updates in the settings application. Past users should uninstall the current installation before updating to this release.

    no restart is required, before, or after a new installation.
    If you have settings you wish to preserve, use the interface provided on the Misc TAB.

    The win7codecs by shark are completely trustworthy. You should submit that file to eset for their examination so they can update their database.
