mkv files dropping sound in vlc

I'm trying to watch an h264 .mkv with vorbis dual audio, but when I skip to any time on the time slider, the audio just drops.

Level 2 verbosity warning block:
main warning: the mixer got a packet in the past (174000) main warning: audio drift is too big (-159000), clearing out
main warning: audio drift is too big (-148667), clearing out
main warning: mixer start isn't output start (-59520)
main warning: buffer is 85667 in advance, triggering downsampling
main warning: audio drift is too big (-235480), clearing out
main warning: timing screwed, stopping resampling
