    Windows Photo Viewer Issues

I'm having a few issues with the Windows Photo Viewer in Windows 7.

I have a large amount of family pictures that I took the time to add titles/descriptions to each picture. When I view them in the Photo Viewer, I cannot read the bottom part of the file that includes the titles and other file specs. It even cuts off a small part of the bottom of each pic (not a huge deal). If I have the "best appearance" box checked for visual effects, the title is in the blurred out section at the bottom. If I check the "best performance" box, it just cuts if off entirely. I have played with some of the individual visual effect settings to no avail.

The viewer on SkyDrive shows the title under the pic, and their slide show puts it on the pic in white which is a very nice touch.

Is there something I can do to my Windows7 settings to at least get the file info showing at the bottom of the pic with the Photo Viewer and not be blurred out or cut off? Or am I stuck using another viewer, and if so which one would show what I want the best (free-ware, of course )

    I appreciate any input.

I have no solution to your Photo Viewer.
Do you have Windows Live Essentials ?
If yes, you have Windows Live Photo Gallery included.
Try use it to view your pictures.

    Darn.

I was just now a half-step ahead of you. The Windows Live Photo Gallery does solve 1/2 of my issues. It will show the full picture without blurring out the bottom. It doesn't however pull the title out of the properties and show it anywhere.

I do appreciate the input and suggestion.

So far I have tried 4 free-ware viewers, FastStone, XNView, KUView and Picasa, in addition to the Windows viewers. And the only viewers that I can get to show the title are still only the Windows Photo Viewer in 7 that blurs out all the properties info at the bottom, and the Slide Show on SkyDrive.

At this point I would be happy if I could just find a way to keep Windows Photo Viewer from blurring out the bottom, if anyone has any ideas on that.
