    Windows Media Player


    Hi-not sure my question belongs here or not but maybe somebody can help?(or place it in the proper forum?)
    I have a tune in the library of Window Media Player and I have played it before but now when I try,I get an error message saying it cannot find the file.
    The file is still there in the My Music location and even though I have selected the media player as the program to open the file it will not work.I can get it to open in Windows Media Centre.
    Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.This has been frustrating me for a while

    Check the name in the Directory, against what WMP thinks it is, if you have auto retrieve file info selected, sometimes WMP will alter the name. Also try to play it with a non windows program like VLC.
