    Photo burn problem

When I try to burn photos from the hard drive of my Dell Optiplex 760 tower (w/ Windows 7 Pro OS), I always (annoyingly) get the Windows Explorer to show the photos; this didn't happen on my previous tower (using Windows XP), as whenever I opened the photo from the Start menu, the photo icons would just be there on the screen - not EMBODIED in any kind of a program like Windows Explorer. This is a real big nuisance, as when I burn a CD, I really don't know whether this Windows Explorer page (embodying the photos) is ALSO being burned to the CD (?). I don't really know, as when I pop the CD in, the Windows Explorer menu is there. Does anyone know what I'm talking about or can off any type of help on this? Thank you so very much.

if you don't want explorer to show the actual images, then you need to change the view.

click the first button on the top left, and move the slider so you get the view you want.

your windows explorer page is not being burned to the cd - only the photos are. windows explorer is just trying to be helpful by showing you the contents of the files you have. rather than looking at a bunch of file names, it's showing you the images themselves, instead of a generic icon.

i hope i've understood your problem.
