File, Save As, keeps original creation date
When saving files in 'Save As' Windows 7 does not put the current date of the save as file, it maintains the original file creation date so that when I refresh the folder by date I still have to search for the ones I just saved as. Is there a way to change the settings of Windows 7 so that when I do a 'save as', Windows 7 puts the current date of the save as image instead of the original creation date? I'm not looking for something that I have to 'tag' each time I do a save as, as this is time consuming. What I need to do is to be able to open an image folder and do a refresh by date and have all the current ones that I have been working on come up on top.
I did a search on this question but nothing came up, now that I posted it, several solutions came up and one was 'Last Modified Date'. So my question has been answered.
Thanks all for your patiance with this Win 7 nob...
