How to LYRICS DISPLAY In WMP12
Hi,
Can lyrics be displayed in wmp as an mp3 is playing as it was done in XP?
I did the Lyrics plug in and tried everything with no success--

Hi neorican
Ive spent most of the day trying to get that plugin to work and I cant either Windows Media Player - Enable Song Lyrics or at least not properly.Others are having some success with it though.
Ive gone back to mini lyrics works like a charm MiniLyrics - Show lyrics in iTunes, Windows Media Player, Winamp, etc.

Your help got me thru this mess, sort Of-
I am not sure as to whether I got MINI LYRICS or the whole thing, but I am now getting LYRICS when I click on one of my mp3 songs-- I seem t have to double or triple click to get the lyrics to show and it kind of comes on after the song starts.
With Your help, this is still great - Does your display work like as I have described mine , or it sort of perfect?

I always use this Lyrics Plugin
Works always perfect for me in win7 64bit wmp 12,just remember not to block it in your firewall.
Btw I love this song!

Hi neorican
Glad your getting there. Ok if you open media player and open mini lyrics with nothing playing as below(Please no giggles over my music preferences).
Minimise mini lyrics. You should now have 2 tabs in the task bar Mp and mini lyrics.
Close media player only(Both will close) then re-open media player and mini lyrics should open minimised with it.Select your music to play then just click the mini lyrics tab in the task bar to bring it to the front of the screen. I found if it opened alongside media player it stopped some of the lag.
Also remember the first time it plays a song it has to search for the lyrics, after that they are stored here C:\Users\Your Name\AppData\Roaming\MiniLyrics\Lyrics. Which makes displaying quicker.I found the more its used the better it gets.

I also use mini lyrics..it's work with various media player like AIMP, WMP,winamp etc..

Hi Danny,
I was somehow able to get lyrics ( not ML ), but no more --
About Mini Lyrics , In trying to follow your instructions -- Problem no. 1 is when I go to WMP, I see lists of songs and when I play , I cannot get any BLACK PIC as you display. Therefore no MINI LYRICS -- I must be missing something.

The black screen you see is one of many mini lyrics themes don't worry about that until you get it working.Firstly make sure the minilyrics plugin is on.Tools\Plugins and tick.
It may be worth un-ticking any others for now.
Then play any song does it work to this point
