WMP briefly opens in "Library" then switches to "Now Playing"

Well, can't get more specific than the title. This little anomaly happened sometime this afternoon probably when I downloaded Spotify. Anyway, when I open Windows Media Player I usually expect to be taken straight to the Library by default. Not anymore. Now I get a brief, momentary flash of the Library and then I'm taken straight to the blank "Now Playing". Yes, I know one can click on the upper right hand corner to switch back but who wants to do that every time? Or vice versa in the lower right hand corner of Now Playing. I'm sure this is a quick and easy fix. Any suggestions? Thanks everyone! Enjoy your weekend. Todd

OK, I got it and yes, "Keep Now Playing on top of other windows" was left UN-checked. Sheesh! Anway, had to go to Control Panel>Programs>Turn Windows features on or off. At this point I looked under Media Features and unchecked both Windows Media Center and Windows Media Player. (Need to uncheck media center in order to uncheck media player.) Hit OK and Restart. Reversed the process to turn back on and there you have it! Worked perfectly!
