Brand new laptop (toshiba) with video stutter issues

I bought a toshiba L755-S5217 laptop a few days ago and i am so far very pleased. I had a few issues but after the updates came in, they were all resolved. The only thing that has continued and is very anoying: when watching videos(youtube/netflix) every minute or so there will be a stutter in the video (image and sound). i have never had this issue with anyother device before and im completely clueless how to solve this. Appreciated, all help will be.

Could be a hardware acceleration problem in flash. Try this (Disable Hardware Acceleration in Flash Player).

I went through and sure enough the box was checked and so it is now unchecked. The "stutter" is now gone from 30 second intervals to 1 minute or so apart, and the degree of the "stutter" is not as bad anymore. Is there some other setting that I might need to correct? If it helps, it has the same stutter on my songs in itunes.

Thanks for the help so far.

Try downloading a recent version of flash from here (Latest Version of Adobe Flash Player). Go to Toshiba's website and get the latest drivers for your video and sound cards as well.
