Duplicated audio file thumbnails

A couple of days ago i noticed that my music file icons have the same thumbnail as the music file that is supposed to have the thumbnail as seen in this screenshot

I tried Disk Cleanup and CCleaner but both haven't fixed the problem. I had this problem before I upgraded to Windows 7 from Vista.

Any help?

Show Hidden files - check for a file called folder.JPG or album.jpg - this will give all music files in that folder the same thumbnail

Thanks for the reply. I enabled Show hidden files but I didn't find any file.jpg or album.jpg.

In WMP12, make sure you uncheck the options to automatically add missing information to the file tags, including downloading info from the internet. Right click on the top navbar, tools, more options, library (or something like that, I'm recalling it from my [poor] memory). Would give you a snippy, but I have disabled WMP completely.

Thanks for the reply, but that did not fix the problem.
Some extra info i can give is that the folder than contains the music has the thumbnail inside it. Screenshot

You should use something like MP3tag to remove unneeded album art. It must've gotten into the files somehow. What I mentioned about WMP before implies to files that you'll be adding in the future. For those that are already in there, you should remove those unwanted tags.

I want to have thumbnails for only some file types...
How would I go about this? I dislike having thumbnail previews of certain file types like video's. But I want my Jpgs, gifs, png's and such, basicly pictures to have Thumbnail previews still. Thats all. The only option Seven gives me is all or none.

My File Thumbnails Keep Disappearing!
Most of the pictures in my "My Pictures" folder display their thumbnails. But anytime I save a picture from online or copy some from my camera, they don't show up. They just show the little standard JPEG mountain scene. Other times if I open a folder with a lot of images, I don't even get the...
