Live Movie Maker disable WTXTranscode ?

    Greetings.

I tried to edit a video, and then I am forced to wait for it to improve playback quality before I can do anything. WTXTranscode.exe is the cause, and was running sky high. If I kill it, or bin it, I can't edit the video

Can this "feature" be disabled ? Thanks

Transcoding is what allows you to edit the file in the first place, disabling means you cannot edit.

I would try to open files just as large, or larger and it won't do that. Probably different filetype then

It basically makes me wait 20-30 minutes, just to make the previewing better. Never seen/needed that, but oh well
