how to restore picture properties before burning to a disc

hi,
sometimes when I burn a folder of pics to a disc a message pops up asking if want to burn the pic with out properties, so i press cancel and it proceeds with the burn. then when i view the pics on a diff computer not all pics are visible. so my question is, is there a was to restore all the pics properties before I burn them. and why is is this happening.

any help would be great, im trying to figure out how to show customers my work with out dragging around a huge photo album or my laptop, would love to be able to just hand them a disk!!!

What program are you using to burn the disc? ImgBurn is a great little program. Just burn the files & that's it.

I could have sworn that Windows 7 used to show me the properties for a highlighted picture file (size, resolution, date taken etc) in the status bar. Now all it says is "1 file selected". Is there a setting somewhere for this ?
