VLC - does MORE than you think
Hi all
VLC is much much more than a free DVD player. I've seen people recommend all sorts of player etc etc but you cannot beet the simplicity and versatility of VLC and it's also a TINY piece of software.
I have not yet seen a codec VIDEO or Audio that it can't handle.

1. Record you PC screen.
2. If you have a TV card. Play the live stations from it.
3. Play video streams from the internet.

jimbo It worked great for me until they added PGS and XSubs subtitle support. Now every time I touch it while playing a video it just goes away. I must have tried 20 different versions and nightly builds. They're all untouchable. Really frustrating!!
