Video Monitors vs Core Temperatures

Two days ago I retired two old 18" ViewSonic monitors and replaced them with two HP2011 Flat Screen Monitors.

During that time, I have noticed an increase in core temperatures of two or three degrees. I am running around 42° on both core temperature monitors.

Is there a correlation? Do the video monitors used have any effect on core temperatures?
