Seems like in an older version of WMP you could access internet radio stations and play them through WMP.
On my Win Seven machine I don't see that option.
Is my memory faulty? Or did MS drop that ability?
I have a networked speaker in another room distant from the computer and would like to log into a station and play the content through the remote speaker. I can access this radio station and stream the content through Firefox (quite separate from WMP) but I don't think I can pass that stream to the remote.

You need a browser to run the internet radio. I run my home stations all day long. I have dedicated a seperate browser just to do that - Safari in my case.
No isea how you have wired your remote speakers. Can't you set them as default in Playback Devices.

If I remember correctly all you have to do is paste the stream URL into a new playlist.
