Which i-player convertion software?

I wish to record i-player programs onto DVD for personal use but am not sure which converter software to use.

I have just seen a demo of a converter, which looks good, but would welcome some advice on what is generally considered to be the best software to use please.

Thanks for looking

Malcolm

I'd look through here:

It's generally the best site around for video conversion info, guides, and program recommendations.

As far as I know BBC iPlayer downloads have DRM to restrict lifetime/number of playbacks. Although apps have been available in the past to circumvent this, the BBC usually plugs the loopholes with some tech - resulting in a cat + mouse situation between programmers and the BBC.

So while I would not wish to comment on the legality of DRM removal, be wary of spending cash on DRM software because what works today may not tomorrow.
