Problem on playing videos

Hello,

Got little problem regarding playing videos
when I double click any videofile or audio file those won't start,, but when I go to any player like in this case VLC , Media Player or any other and open em through there those works perfecty.

So my question is how do I fix it ot get em work on double click again as reinstalling video players didn't solve problem.

Solved it on my own,, resetted VLC, precache, also redownloaded zip file with regs and it everything worked fine after restarting,, now all music, videos etc works fine.

Tried your way first but it didn't help at all so came up this solution.
