>>>Is there a Video size option in WLMM?

No, there isn't.

The answer I am looking for is ....why is everything grayed out under Edit tab except Duration, and how to activate them ?

I'm unsure T, but maybe because pics aren't videos? Are the options available while a video plays?

I'm pretty sure that has nothing to do with that black background, if you hover over it, it says "Choose a background color for the current text item"

All options under Edit tab except Duration are grayed out ( inactive ). Mouse hovering over it will NOT show anything.

I need someone to tell me why they are grayed out.

Videos or pictures make no difference.
What are grayed out remain grayed out.

I am going to uninstall WLMM and then re-install.

No disrespect is intended......
Would someone recommend me a reputable Windows Live Movie maker forum ?
I really need to know how to " un-gray " the options. Otherwise WLMM is useless without the use of Edit options.

Thank you.

Editing..... please don't mention MS Answers forums.

No disrespect taken.
I understand your frustration. When whs logs back in he told me he would check out your thread.

Meanwhile, have you looked at that movie maker forum I linked to?

I don't know either how to change the color. But did you try to change the aspect ratio (in the Project tab). Maybe you can get rid of the black stripes all together.

I already am using 4.3 aspect ratio. 16.9 would increase the size of the black strips.
I found some thing rediculously stupid.
I am able to activate all Edit options BUT one .....background color option is still grayed out.

Here is the stupid part.....
I have to save the video first to my computer, then re-insert the video back to WLMM. Then Edit options come to live.
