    Webcam Recording


    I got a good one for you guys... So I've been wanting to record covers for songs using my webcam to record video... However my webcams mic sucks and distorts my guitar so it sounds like I'm playing some sort of retro cyber guitar i guess is the best way to put it... So my multi effects processor is able to connect to my pc via usb... So my general question is, is there a software that can record my webcams video and record audio from another source other than the webcam?

    Yeah your gonna need two extra pieces of software Audacity and a video editor. In audacity set the input to your processor and record you webcam with your usual software. You will then have to match the audio with video in a video editor and render it out. Theres plenty of tutorials on audacity online and im sure you could easily get some freeware video editing software.
