    Blu Ray questions

Would ripping blu ray be better than ripping DVDs? I have trouble ripping pirates of the caribbean on stranger tides. Is blu ray better with region codes, when ripping
blu ray? Is Pavtube a good ripper for ripping Blu Ray? Will there be a switch to the
Blu Ray format, instead of DVDs? What burner for Blu Ray discs, to use, that doesn't take long to burn to? Would AVS Video Converter be good?

I have very little experience with ripping Blu Ray, but I know from working with DVDs that it is somewhat hit and miss with any particular ripping software. Therefore I use 3 different programs...DVDFab8, WinX DVD Ripper and Handbrake. Between the 3, I have always found one that worked, however HandBrake will not work with BD. The only other differences that I'm aware of is that the quality of a BD rip should be much better than a DVD rip, but it will also produce a much, much larger file output. Since my experience is BD limited, I won't make any particular recommendations about software to use, however if I had to choose at the moment, I would try WinX Blu Ray ripper.
