Windows 7: Videos missing

I downloaded a youtube playlist through a batch video downloder and the name of playlist being downloaded clashed with one of existing folder in the very same directory .
Say ,i have this path in E :\collegestuff \compiler design
My output in batch downloader is also the same for the newly downloading playlist.

Now as soon as the new download began , All the old videos under this path disappeared .
They were overwritten by new playlist .



So i was wondering if there is any way to retrieve my older videos ,anyhow ?
