I have a blu player on my computer and I can not get it to play blu ray dvds. I have a windows 7 on a 64 bit os. Can not find a decent decoder that is windows 7 and 64 bit software. Any suggestions, i'd like freeware however i will pay for it. I am able to play regular dvds in the blu ray player but the blu ray dvd will not.
Shark007's FREE Codec solutions. This place is good for Vista but is not so good on Seven. With Seven some blu ray movies work with sound and video but others work only with sound, you would also have to use AnyHDdvd to play the blu ray movie with in WMP. With Seven and or WMP 12 all movies play in another language instead of english.
Within Vista, all movies played in english having both video and and audio. My current method at the moment is dual boot Seven with Vista. I will be testing XP mode with AnyHDdvd, Shark 007 codecs and WMP11 combined.

I'm using ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre 3 Platinum, integrates with WMC and also plays back HD-DVD as well as Blu-Ray from not only the original disk but from Hard Drive ISO images and Ripped Folders/Files.
I've also used Power DVD Ultra 9 but TMT3 is more powerfull, so my son has that license now.
At the moment ArcSoft are giving the SimHD plugin away free with Platinum. That's their upscaling technology, turning standard-definition multimedia files and DVDs into high-definition ones.
