Windows 7: I can not view video in any browser

I can not view video in any browser

I am running Windows Enterprise x64 bit and I can not view any video in any browser. This started a few days ago. I have uninstalled everything Adobe and reinstalled it according to the instruction; three times. I have tried everything that I can think of and still I can not view any video. Videos that I have stored on my hard drive work fine. It is only in the browser. I use Mozilla Firefox, but I have tried it in Google and IE.
Still nothing. If you have any other ideas I would appreciate it.

i had this problem recently, the solution for me was to disable the real player download plugin in firefox,

dont suppose you have that installed by any chance.

if you do you will have to disable it in your other browsers too.

I did have real player and I disabled it as you suggested. I'm still having the problem though. Thank you for trying though

Hi

Just a tip:

Firefox needs the Shockwave flash player plugin,especially for youtube videos.

I ran a scan for Malware and found some junk and cleaned it up now everything works fine.
