I've found this. It seems that some of the hotkeys might have changed since the article I linked you to previously was written. According to this, the hot keys are k and j for Audio delay up and Audio delay down respectively.

Unfortunately, I don't have VLC installed, so I can only point you to what I have come up with on Google.

Most likely it's a codec issue with the new codec causing sync issues with your older encodes.
I recently had an issue with some x264 files that would be in sync in VLC but not in Zoom Player.
Had to go with a different version of halli media splitter to solve my issue.
Not necessarily. When I say re-encode I mean from the DVD, not simply converting what I have. It may be just a bad encode that I didn't note when I made it. Besides, one of my rippers has a force sync function, which might be a solution.

Yep, those hot keys do the job. It's a little bit of a nuisance, but it will hold me until I re-encode the videos. Thanks
