SKYDRIVE: How do you make photos show up in "photos?"

    SKYDRIVE: How do you make photos show up in "photos?"


    This first shot shows the main Skydrive window. FILES.

    How do I move them so they show up in PHOTOS as shown in the second photo, below?

    Hi eknrib,

    I have the SkyDrive app installed on both my computers on D: drive. I can have them displayed anyway I want.

    try opening the photos folder and on the bottom right in skydrive , click the information tree arrow ,there is an option to change the folder type, check it to see that it is set to photos, reset it if you want then the photos should display when you click the photos link as in your second pic.

    Select the folder you want to be considered photos with the checkbox, on the right side of the screen there is a side bar, if it is not open press the arrow near the top. Expand "Information" at the bottom of it their is "Folder type" click change. Repeat.

    where does it say 'change?' If you mean 'Move To,' PHOTOS is not an option...

    open the folder (pictures) then go to information ,expand it and you will see change at the bottom right, i can see from your screenshot that the pictures folder is set as documents that is why they are not showing pictures when you open it,
    it will say
    file type
    documents change

    when you click change you get the option to change it to photos

    open the pictures folder and see if change is showing.
