Windows 7: File system error repair utility for SD card???

File system error repair utility for SD card???



I recorded a number of AVCHD videos that are important to me on Sony digicam. this morning. Later when I wanted to transfer them from the SD card to my laptop I discovered they they were not found where they belong (AVCHD>BDMV>STREAM FILE) or anywhere else in the card's file structure.
I ran Windows error check on the sd card and the report came back
"This disk contains file system errors that windows cannot fix"

I used recuva software to try to find the missing files but was unsuccessful.
Now I am trying to determine if there possibly is a type of software that might be able to repair the file problem the the Windows utility could not fix.
