Are these commercial Blu-Ray disc or ones you have burnt yourself. If you put one of the OK siscs in you player, go to Computer, right click on the Blu-Ray drive and click Open and take note of the contents. Should be a MBDV folder there. Then try a disc that doesn't work, do the same procedure and see if it is different. Have you access to a Blu-Rayer player and HD TV that you can try them on?

I have a new Samsung Blu-Ray player (standalone) - one of the new ones with wireless internet connection. I bought a new Blu Ray movie (with John Travolta) and it would not play until I updated the firmware in the Samsung player. This may be something similar, so check to see if there is a firmware update for your Blu Ray drive.

Hi Firebird, So do you use your stand alone player to play the disc on your PC?
