    change the icon image?

    Hey all,
I just found this site and so far so good. But here is my question I am running win 7 and I back my dvd's up on the computer (I know shady but I own the disk). I Just don't wanna carry disks with me. So here is the problem when I copy the file to the hd windows 7 makes a movie clip for the icon. I don't want that I want my own image. IE. Movie poster. Do you know how to do this? Any help would be great thank you.

Install ISO burning software. The ISO(s) will get the corresponding icon.

Oh, did you mean Movie DVDs?

    Chuckle.

A movie DVD has multiple folders and files. The movie is in a vob file.

Are you "ripping" the DVD or cloning a DVD copy? Ripping will rename the file extension during the compression process. Cloning will keep the vob extension.

I am just taking the movie off the dvd this way I have a back up of just the movie I don't care about that extra stuff. When I go on biz trips I need something to watch on the road and I know I will lose the disk.

Picture 1 - a DVD copied to HD
Picture 2 - DVDs ripped to HD

Please indicate which picture represents your method of "copying" a DVD to your computer.

There are a few options for re-assigning these icons. What software do you use to "copy" the DVD?

I am also having the same problem trying to figure out how to do this. It seems that Antman was able to answer your question. Would you mind filling me in on how it works?
