    Adding to SEND To list


    Is it possible to add an additional destination to the SEND T0 list ? For instance, I would find it useful to be able to send a photo to PHOTOSCAPE for editing.

    Hello Pantagruel, and welcome to Seven Forums.

    "Send to" is for sending a file to a location such as a folder or drive instead of a program.

    For what you are describing, you may want to use "Open with" instead to have the photo to be opened with the PHOTOSCAPE program.

    Open With - Change Default Program

    Thank you, Shawn, this is very helpful.


    I am sorting hundreds of photos. Each time I wanted to edit a photo, I had to leave the viewing program, open Photoscape and drill down to find that particular photo is the My Picture list. A pain... Too bad I did not think of asking about Open With before!

In XP, I can add destinations to the right-click > Send To menu, by adding shortcuts to programs to the C:\Documents and Settings\DarkStar\SendTo folder. I've added Notepad and MS Paint there. Can I do something similar in Windows 7?
I used to turn off unnecessary services of windows. However, I did the same thing to Win 7 which is obviously out of my previous knowledge. The worst is I can not use outlook to send email now:cry:. Can anyone export your default services list of Windows 7 and send it to me? Thank you very much!...
