i always make sure that the file is hidden.

but when i click on START button and then TYPE the name of the file on Search program and files Field down there, it always showed up?

I just confused and frustrated can't completely hidden a file.

please help me.

You can try the same thing too, after you see a hidden text file or video file, it still can be searched.

I suppose there are history section somewhere on windows 7 i need to delete.

Am i correct?

well to hide files don't depend on windows' "Hidden" Attribute use a .bat file to lock these things can be downloaded from here : LINK , but I recommend you to use truecrypt which is free and very very powerful or use Folder Guard. If you use hidden attribute the file will somehow come up somewhere

No, you dont understand. when people use this computer, and example, you've been using song.mp3 ( hiddened file ). then when i type this on "search program and files" on microsoft button down there, the file will always showed up, no matter it hidden or not.

do anybody have any idea?
