Audio disks appear blank

    Audio disks appear blank


    When I insert a audio disk windows says the disk is empty this happens 75% of the time

    But the disk works on cd players
      My Computer

    Two possibilities:

    • Dust and hair inside the drive. Clean out with a can of compressed air.
    • Failing/misaligned laser head. Drive replacement is usually the best solution.

    Is it safe to use compressed air on a laptop disk drive?

    Thxs I'm just testing how many disks
    1. Read(Data)
    2. Read(Empty)
    3. Not read

    Ok I did the testing and


    • Green = Not Read
    • Red = Read but was empty
    • Blue = Read with data on.

    I am unable to get any compressed air so on saturday I'm gonna get a USB disk drive
