    WMP doesn't search album info!

This started a while ago and and i cant seem to solve it. The problem is that WMP only shows a blank page when i when i right-click and "search album info".

I have the windows firewall allowing WMP for Private but the rules for Domain and Public are disabled. I tried enabling them all but that didnt do the trick...

    What should i do?

    Thanks in advance.

apart from trying to repair wmp
    Windows Media Player Troubleshooting Guide

i find that winamp finds album info far better, it is more accurate and for me personally it has only once not found the info.
i have used wmp album info in the past and it was a pain as it would give several alternatives for the album selected, plus you have to manually select each track etc.
give winamp a whirl, once you have the album info then it should also show in wmp, if that is your music player of choice.

I tried the solution in that link and none succeded. Not even reinstalling the whole wmp nor the fix.

I really wanted to keep wmp because i like its design and im used to it. Is there any way?

PS: I have also tried deleting the database and that didnt do...

looks like no one has a solution, i personally would use winamp to get the info and play the music in wmp. when you use winamp to update the info wmp will be able to read the tags and info also.
when i used to use wmp i would fetch the albumart myself by using google images. as for track info give winamp a whirl you wont be dissapointed,
dont have winamp as your default player, open an album in winamp click the now playing tab and select all the tracks , right click and select send to /autotag, follow the prompts to change the info and it will update your tags , ,close winamp open wmp and the library should update with the new tag info.

sorry i dont have a fix for the wmp issue, but this is a workaround . you will see how easy it is to use in comparison to wmp .
