PS3 finds music, finds playlists but not the music in them

As the title says,

I turned my ps3 on for the first time in a good month or more tonight, planning to stream music and just have a relaxing night, but lo and behold its not working for me. I can see all my music, I can see my playlists as folders, but when i try to go into these folders, it cant find music in those playlists.

Anyone know why this might be happening?

Are you streaming Music to the PS3 from an external hard drive or a PC? You may have to re-establish the connection. Or the destination folders may have been moved.

EDIT:-

Try this - Go to Settings -----> Network Settings -----> Media server connection - ENABLE

Then go to the MUSIC icon and select "Search for media server" and it should appear.

PC to ps3, as I said, it finds the music, it finds the playlists, but it doesnt find the music in the playlists. So it finds Dani California under all music and under artists->red hot chilli peppers, but it doesnt find it, or any tracks for that matter, under playlists->main
