I have had my Dell Studio XPS with Windows 7 Ultimate for almost two years, and over that period I have used as many as six different CD Burning progs, but on each piece of software I have encountered the same annoying problem when it comes to CD copying. Following the copy I check the 'copied to' disc and on 2 out of 3 occasions there is a brief total sound drop out after between 50 seconds and 1 minute's play (never any less, never any more!). There are no problems whatsoever with burning or ripping, it's just copying. The two pieces of software I am presently swearing at are Nero Burning ROM 11 and Ashampoo Burning Studio 9. I have changed reading and writing speeds, and copied both on and off the fly. If anyone out there has any solutions I will be very grateful indeed.
