TOTALLY FREE video maker for Windows 7 (apart from Movie Maker) Hi guys,
I need an honest to goodness FREE video maker for Windows 7 with features that are way better than Movie Maker (MM).
I've had the following problems with the many applications I've downloaded:
1. hijacked my browsers
2. output vid - has watermarks OR only 30 seconds is free OR pay to download file
3. features are way simpler than MM
4. free for only a specified amount of time
Can't wait to hear your suggestions. I'm tired of getting all these fakers. Thank you.

hi shashikumarbhat,
thank you very much for your suggestion. in the future, i'm sure i will find something in DVDVideoSoft. but for now, i can't find anything that will enable me to make a video and not simply edit existing videos and/or pictures.

For that purpose I would use PowerPoint - you can make all kinds of very fancy animations. But if you do not have the Office package (sells for $89 now), Windows Live Movie Maker is your best bet. Make sure you use the Live MM.
Here are a couple of PowerPoint shows (turn the speakers on) I made with pictures only. But you can mix videos into it. https://vimeo.com/4085938 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tq3DVK01eP8 Note that these are screen captured PP 2007 shows. In PowerPoint 2010 you can convert them directly to videos which gives you a more fluent quality. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP, Dell, Gateway, Toshiba - 4 laptops and 2 desktops OS Vista, Windows7, Mint Mate, Zorin, Windows 8 CPU from 1.6GHz Duo to i7 Monitor(s) Displays 2x HP w2207 Keyboard with trackball - no mices Mouse Trackball mice Hard Drives 5x HDD, 7x SSD, 12x Externals Internet Speed DSL 6000 |
