Windows 7: Change the media attributes shown on the "attribute pane" in a folder

Change the media attributes shown on the "attribute pane" in a folder

I'm not really sure what it is called but the "attribute pane" I am referring to is the metadata of a file shown on the bottom of the folder view that shows Length, Data Rate, Size, etc. I noticed that when selecting a music file, the "attribute pane" shows the contributing artist but it doesn't if selecting a video file. Is there a way to show the contributing artist (even if the video file has no contributing artist yet) in the "attribute pane" of a video file?

My ultimate goal is to modify multiple video files by adding a contributing artist to all of them. When doing this by selecting all of them, click properties then changing the artist, for some reason it takes about a minute for each video just to add a contributing artist to it. The size of the videos are ~500mb to ~1gb.

Any help?
Thanks!
