How to sync music playlist to sub-directory on FAT32 flash drive, Win7

    Hi All,

I'm running Win 7 Home Prem 64bit. I want to sync a playlist of music to a sub-directory on a standard FAT32 flash drive (16gb micro-SDHC card). And I want to make sure the sync doesn't mess up my other directories on the flash drive.

I don't really care which music program I use. It could be WMP, Winamp, Itunes, MediaMonkey, etc. I'm now starting the research. But before I dive in and spend all the time to research, I want to see if any of you already know how to do this.

At first glance, it looks like Itunes and WMP cannot sync playlists to a sub-directory. Looking at WMP, it lets you sync to a flash drive, but I don't see any way to use WMP to sync to a sub-directory on the flash drive.

Soon I'm going to install Winamp and Media Monkey to see if they can do this. But if someone already knows how to solve this, that would be great. I'm open to using any program that can do this.

My goal is to be able to update the playlist on the PC and then sync and have all the files updated (or deleted, as needed) on the "Music" sub-directory of the flash drive.

Need any other details? Thanks! Kind Regards,

    Advait

    SOLVED with MediaMonkey

    Hi All,

The "MediaMonkey" program did just what I needed to do. It has terrific file syncing features and got all my music files synced properly.

    Cheers,
