transferring home made dvds to HDD.

    Hi,

I have a bunch of DVDs that are home made (weddings, holidays etc). I was wondering how I go about putting a copy of each one onto my Computer hard disk? Do I need special software and is it easy to do it?

    thanks.

all you have to do is put the disk in the disk drive, open disk the folder and copy the files you want and paste them in your hard drive

Can anyone tell me what format they will be in? Is it best to convert them to a different type?
