Corrupted cover art images in explorer

    Having more issues again

Some of the cover letters are corrupt they show colorful garbage, strangely any media player shows them fine, yet Windows 7 explorer does not, I have flushed thumbnail caches and re adding the cover image again, rebooting the computer, the problem continues does anyone know why?

All covers are embedded using MediaMonkey, most are fine.

can you try downloading and embedding the same cover from a different source,ie google images,
also maybe try using mp3tag to embed the coverart, to rule out its not just a mediamonkey embed problem.
also the screenshot you posted shows the libraries , does the corruption still show in explorer when you go to the root folder.
if not maybe try removing the music folder from the library and re adding it again. letting the library rebuild.

and finally if none of the above work try
    rebuild the icon cache...

Many thanks, solved by re-embeeding the images again one by one with Mediamonkey, don't know what happened, though...

Arrrgh happened again after batch editing, yeah the corruption is in Explorer too besides the library, rebuilt icon cache and any caches, and in Windows 8 this time (dual boot), maybe is there something wrong with MediaMonkey or my computer? Might try another software to embed cover arts!

The strange thing is that any media player shows them fine, only Explorer and Windows Media Player shows corrupted or no cover at all like most files below

try unblocking the image (properties) and then adding the cover art.

I setup up the music library on my machine and replaced WMplayer with VLC. I figured why do I need WMPlayer that stores music in a library when I have Libraries.

I took me a while and there are definitley some oddities.

I used mp3tag to tack on the cover art. Sometimes I had to remove "previous" covers, other times there was a one bugger in the folder that screwed things up, still other thimes all I did was move the mp3 files to a new folder.

But the biggest gain came from unblocking the art b4 tacking it on. Make sure the mp3 is also not blocked.

Try one and see if it sticks, then try ten.
