Windows 7: You Tube video degraded after download

I'm sort of new at this,but why when I download a video that is picture perfect say from You Tube,save it then replay it in WMP the video quality is poor. Any advice would be helpful.

How are you downloading the video?

Did you install additional codecs?
If so, from where?

Using Freemake video downloader and I have Sharky's Win 7 codecs andx64 components

Are you converting the video or just downloading the recommended file?

Did you use Shark'y recommended settings (the little check box at the bottom of the setup tool)?

Can you provide a link to a video that does not work well for you once you download it?

As long as the windows are about the same size - then I see about the same quality:


Converting to a different file format can cause to quality to go down - so I asked you about that. It is best not to convert the file. Did you leave the downloader on MP4?
