Windows Movie Maker live, question with mp4
Having just returned from abroad, I had numerous HD video clips that I took with my DSLR. I decided to use the "latest" Windows Movie Maker program (Live, I think), which seems to work real effortlessly. Except when I tried to save my final project. I wanted to take full advantage of the High Def files and saved it for High-definition display, thinking that I could then burn this file to a DVD. So, when it finished rendering, it saved it as an MP4 extension. But, when I tried to view this file, nothing that I had installed would play it. Nor could I use Windows DVD maker to burn the file. Being somewhat discouraged, I then instead rendered the project as a DVD burnable file and made a DVD. This was not satisfactory at all. The video was pretty pixelated and choppy, and the video hesitated a lot. So, I am asking anyone out there who has used this program, is there a way to utilize the high-definition display option for viewing on an optical drive or anywhere, for that matter? I will take my answer off the air (oops, wrong format!).
Thanks.
