Welcome to the forums.
I just went and downloaded a mp3 from there. No problems. The Jehovah's Witness site, correct? Are you having problems downloading anything else? Maybe an overloaded server when you tried, so have you went back and tried again? Not sure what your problem could be, as stated above a little more info would benefit us greatly on your problem. | My System Specs | | Computer type Laptop System Manufacturer/Model Number Asus G74Sx OS Windows 7 Home Premium x64 CPU Intel i7 2670 Qm @2.20 Motherboard AsusTek G74Sx,1.0 Memory 16 GB DDR3 Graphics Card Nvidia Geforce GTX 560M -2040mb Monitor(s) Displays Generic Screen Resolution 1600 x 900 Hard Drives Crucial M4 128 gb SSD Internal/ 500gb Western Digital internal @ 7200 rpm (love the dual internal drives!)

sandybeach, do you know which browser you are using, and what version? When you click the MP3 button the screen should darken a little, and a smaller window pops up with a list of songs to choose from (this would be known as a "lightbox" effect). It may not be working properly for you. Knowing which browser and version you have would help us to know how to help you.
edit: Just a thought... have you tried simply rebooting your computer? Perhaps something glitched out and needs resetting.

Yea knowing which browser you're using would be great. Usually you should just get a save option then be able to open it up with say windows media player or what ever music player you are currently using. I'm going to assume you're using internet explorer, you should get a prompt to download and just click save after clicking on the music file on the site by clicking on title of that mp3. Once saved you can open it up preferably with windows media player since it comes with windows 7 and be able to play it. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop OS Windows 7 Home premium 64bit CPU AMD Phenom II X4 925 (Deneb) OC 3.4GHz Motherboard M5A78L-MLX Plus Memory 8192MB RAM DDR3 1600 Graphics Card XFX HD 6870 1GB (Connected via HDMI) Monitor(s) Displays Polaroid TLAC-02255 22" Digital HD LED TV Screen Resolution 1920x1080 60Hz Keyboard Microsoft USB Comfort Curve Keyboard 2000 (IntelliType Pro) Mouse Logitech Optical Gaming Mouse G400 PSU CORSAIR CX600 600w Case AZZA Orion 202 EVO with 3fans and a corsair af fan Cooling cooler master hyper TX3 cpu cooler Hard Drives Kingston Digital 60GB SSDNow V300 and 500gb HDD Western Digital 7200rpm (black) Internet Speed 6Mbps download 0.65Mbps upload Antivirus MSE Browser chrome |

O.K. When I go to that site, it opens its homepage. I scroll down to the bottom where the columns are saying "Read", "Learn About" , "Download" etc. Right? O.k. I click on "Music" in the Download column. It takes me to a page Titled "Music for Christian Worship". Correct? Is this where/what you see/get to also? Theres boxes there that say "Sing to Jehovah" 6 of them, and 6 boxes that say "Kingdom Melodies". Correct? They look like this :
Under the "Sing to Jehovah" box/icon theres two smaller rectangles saying MP3 and AAC with a little headphone icon next to the MP3. Correct? If you click on the MP3 rectangle, a box pops up with a list of songs that says "play/download". If you click on the little arrowish thing in front of the song it will play. If you click on the name of the song , it will download. (Or you can look in the upper righthand side to "download all files (ZIP) )" If you want to download them all use that, or you could download them all (or not) one by one. I use Opera as a browser , when I click on a song to download I see this pop up (you should have something similar) :
Choose save, you'll get another window pop up,choose where you want to save it to, Desktop/Music folder/Wherever. If what you see is significantly different from what I have written , tell us where it diverges and we'll go from there. Hope this helps.

IC, It sounds like sandybeach (SB) is okay until s/he reaches the part where the "lightbox" pop-up is supposed to "pop-up", but it does not.

There is one FireFox (FF) option I would like you to check:
Click on Tools and near the bottom click on Options:
When Options opens, click on the Content Tab. Is your setting for allowing pop-ups checked or unchecked?
If it is checked, uncheck it, and OK your way out.
Restart FF and try to make your D/L at jw.org
If it is already unchecked or your change to the option does not work, I have several questions,
Do you have this problem on any other sites that have Mp3 D/L's or is this the only site that acts this way?
Have you successfully done Mp3 D/L's from jw.org before, but now they won't?
And, just for a test. Can you try using your Internet Explorer (IE) browser at that jw.org page to see if it also acts the same way? Do you need help finding your IE browser? | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Gateway DX4831e (Mid-Tower Desktop) OS Win 7 Home Premium 64bit Ver 6.1.7600 Build 7601 - SP1 CPU Intel i3 530 2.93GHz, 2933MHz 2 Cores 4 Logical Processors Motherboard Gateway H57M01 133 megahertz Memory 6GB of 1,333MHz DDR3 SDRAM Graphics Card 32MB Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD IGChip Sound Card Realtek High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays Gateway HX2000 20inch TFT active matrix TN Screen Resolution 1600 x 900 x 59 hertz Keyboard MS 'Natural' Standard PS/2 Enhanced 101-102 Key Mouse Gateway USB wired optical PSU 300watts.
