Error when loading .WMV files in DVD Maker

A month ago DVD Maker would burn a .wmv file no problem. Now whenever I try and load up any type of file (other than .jpg for some reason) I get the following error:

"The file <name>.wmv is not a supported file type and it cannot be imported"

This issue (along with several others, listed here: Multiple issues after update (sfc /scannow and CheckSUR logs included)) have popped up after performing a Windows Update back on 3/14/2013.

I have taken the following actions to attempt to resolve the issue:
    1. Ran a virus scan using avast! (no issues found)
    2. Ran a system scan using Malwarebytes (no issues found)
    3. Ran a System Repair using chkdsk /r
    4. Ran a System Check using sfc /scannow (no integrity violations found)
    5. Ran a CheckSUR (no problems found)
    6. Confirmed that DVD Maker has no filters installed

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm using Windows 7, 64bit

    Thanks,

I would reinstall DVD Maker and see if that repairs the damage, wondering if a common .dll it uses, was replaced by something else.
