Can I install on older version of WMP?

Is there any way that I can go back to an older (friendlier) version of WMP. I found v10 at Old Apps but got the message that it was incompatible with current settings.

I hate the way that v12 handles my album artwork. I spent weeks remaking thousands of images at 500x500 and WMP changed them to 200x200. Good thing I had them backed up....

Any help at all is appreciated!

Have you considered using another program? Media Monkey works well for me and you have a lot of choices overall with its database. I use the paid version and am quite happy. Others use Foobar and the like. It really depends on the size of your database and the complexity you want to have.

I will look into those. My main problem is:

I have a computer set up in a room that I use only for music. I want to be able to see what's playing from across the room. The computer is as close to the seating area as possible--about 18 ft. away.

I like all the features of WMP. I do have Jaangle installed but I can't set up view for song titles, among other problems with it. WMP works exactly as I want, I just want my artwork to stay at 500x500.

I also downloaded WinAmp and it was about the size of a postage stamp.

    Any other suggestions?

Okay, so you are a genius. I downloaded Media Monkey and it was everything I've ever wanted WMP 12 to be and more--right down to enlarging the text! Oh, and my artwork looks stunning, I might add!

I was going to ask you to marry me but I'm pretty sure my husband wouldn't allow it....

    Thanks for your great help!

    Problem with Media Monkey

The problem with MWP was that it resized my large album artwork. I switched to Media Monkey but now it is showing small thumbs (200x200). Is this coming from the tags? Can I stop this so that it will only use my large 500x500 folder jpg?

    Thanks for help!
