jpeg converter any-where

Would like to convert scanned jpeg files to text for editing etc. Is there a good freebie out there for this.

Thanks for all that info. At the moment FREE OCR looks the business for me. It seems simple and I don't have to be online.

JPEG, now you see it...
now you don't. Basically, I save a JPEG onto desktop. I know I have. I open Windows Explorer, I see it on there. If I am looking flat straight at desktop----which only has two icons it..I don't see it. Now why would that be?

Location of theme jpeg
Hi, I installed a few themes and love some of the photos. I want to use a few for my XP laptop. The laptop can't possibly run Win7, else I'd upgrade. Where are the jpeg(?) files from a theme located? Can I just copy them to my XP system (via USB stick if needed)? Thanks, MikeC
