    Video and Audio Slightly Out-of-sync

I just installed Windows 7 Professional and have been noticing a slight issue with WMP playback. Few days ago, I was watching Battlestar Galactica (xvid files) and I had the sneaking feeling that something was wrong. Today, I downloaded some video game trailers, and after slowing down the video frame by frame, it is certain that the audio and video are slightly out of sync.

This happens for most videos I play with WMP 12. I do not use any custom codecs. Is this a common issue, any tips?

It actually is a comman issue. when someone burns the xvid and their birner is slightly out of sync you get the result. There are many player apps that allow you to sunc the audio with the video by seeing how far (in Ms) the audio and video are different. Im not a WMP user and cant find it in wmp. If its there someone else is going to have to help
