Problem with playing the SAMSUNG galaxy & iphone videos on windows 7

Hi all,

I have two machines. My home machine is a Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit, 1.8 GHZ of CPU, 512 MB of RAM and chipset family video card with about 256 MB total available memory. The next is my office machine with 3.3 GHZ of CPU, 4 GB for RAM and Geforce GTS 450 video card (2.5 GB) and the same OS as my home one.
When I want to watch the .MP4 video files recorded by SAMSUNG galaxy SIII or iphone 4S on those machines, the video on my office machine plays normally but that video on my home machine plays abnormally. That is, plays in slower mode or with broken picture and so on.
My players are VLC, Media player classic and windows media player.
And I used various codecs, but no one made changes.

Is there any idea that why those videos play abnormally on my home machine?
Thanks in advance.

Could need a driver update for your graphic? Have you checked to see if you have the latest driver?

khoshtipi, I would recomend more Ram you have 512MB, at least I gb is the lowest, 2GB would be better.
Benjy is correct, you need to have the latest graphic driver too.

@Benji & Dude: I'm not sure the video card driver is the problem but despite it I respect your ideas and try to download latest update of it. About the OSs, the problem still exists on XP. Thank you.

khoshtipi,
Okay let us know if it works. Could you also Update Your Specs

You also stated you used various codecs, can you list which. VLC contains it's own codecs so if you have vlc and several codecs or codec packs it can cause a conflict.

I downloaded the video card driver for my machine (dell inspiron 1501) from ATI website and installed it. Didn't see any difference! The problem whatever is, it's related to the hardware devices, I think, But not sure. For example when I play that video .mp4 file on another XP/7 machine that doesn't have any of codecs packs and updated video driver and like those, the video plays normally.
If issue is one that I told, so how a weak machine can perform its OS and many heavy files but can't play a light iphone .mp4 file?
Thank you guys for your attention to my problem.

I'm a little confused so lets get this straight.

Your home machine is the one that has problems playing this?

If that is right it is because you do not have enough ram to run the os. See post 3

Please update your specs for the machine that is having problems playing the video. You are confusing me by talking about multiple os's and machines. To solve the problem please be specific, list specs for the machine that is having problems, then we can try to help you

Sorry if my comments were confusing.

Yes, that is my home machine which has problem with that .mp4 file.

Yeah, I think so. One of the hardware devices (like RAM) is most suspected.

My talk about multiple OSs was this that, the problem still exists on 7 or I install XP, on my home machine. That is changing the OS
doesn't solve the issue.

The home machine's specs which has the problem are:
DELL inspiron 1501
CPU : 1.8 GHZ
Graphic: 256MB AMD
RAM: 512
HDD: 80GB

Thank you clearing that up for me. I know you need more ram to run Windows 7. As far as on xp it might have needed some update maybe? I recommend you put more ram in the machine, it should solve the issue for you.
