So I assume from your post that your problem is now resolved. Just so others who have the same or similar problems in the future it would help if we knew where all these movies came from in the first place?

Can you elaborate a bit here please? What is cuda---? and why did you convert to mpeg11?
Can you provide a link to just one of the movies that you downloaded please? We are bemused by this one a bit!

cuda is an free video converter ans is fast compared to others--- files are converted to mpeg11 for use on my tv dvd player as will only play mpeg --have stored them on both laptop and external drive for use when travelling when no tv available---download movies from utube by clicking on screen and copy valid usb at the moment --add files to ilivid my free downloader---come down as mp4 --convert using cuda ,
after all this i now have 201 gig from 282 certainly problem solved

files are converted to mpeg11 for use on my tv dvd player as will only play mpeg
But a file with the MP4 file extension is an MPEG-4 Video file. Will that not play in the TV DVD player as, if the DVD player is old then, as an mpeg11 is a fairly recent development I would have thought that if mpeg11 plays then an mp4 should play!? So do you burn the mpeg11 files to a DVD disc to play in the TV DVD player?
