Only left audio channel when playing youtube clips

    An odd one!

Except for Youtube, every audio or video clip that I play works perfectly whether from a browser, Media Player or any other source - both L & R audio channels present and in balance.

Youtube has suddenly decided to play only the Left audio channel - it's not simply unbalanced - it just isn't there. This applies to every Youtube clip that I play from the browser link, and is the same in both IE9 and Firefox. If I download the clip and play it through (any) media player, it's fine.

I've checked all the audio settings - is there something I've missed?

    Regards

    John

This may not be your "scene" but just try it for sound. This works fine for me:

At least we know it's not a You Tube problem!

Reinstall (or update) the flash player and see if that fixes it. Youtube uses flash.

That's exactly what I was going to suggest if my video that I linked the OP to didn't give audio on both R and L. Just trying to eliminate possibilities first!
